Athalie (Dakin) Hall, known to her friends as Lee, age 93 of Danbury CT, formerly of Charlotte, N.C., died on August 7, 2009. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 20, 1916, daughter of the late George and Janet (Pratt) Dakin and was the wife of the late Carlisle Douglas Hall.
She graduated from Bishop Memorial School of Nursing in 1937 and worked throughout her life as a nurse while raising her family. She is survived by her children, Carol Wooters and her husband Michael of Redding, CT, Douglas Hall and his wife Marta of Palm Harbor, FL, Richard Hall and his wife Debi of Clyde, NC, a sister Lilian Ross of Pittsfield, MA, grandchildren Susan Kullstam and her husband Lars, Laura Russell and her husband David, Michael Wooters and his wife Hayleigh and great grandchildren Annika Kullstam, Kadie and Owen Russell, Emma and Morgan Wooters.
Cremation Society of New England has been entrusted with the arrangements. A family memorial will be private.
