Carol Lawrence

Carol M. Lawrence, passed away April 13, 2012, at Hartford Hospital. Born Sept. 11, 1929, daughter of the Hon. Judge Walter and Arlene Foley of Glastonbury.

She was predeceased by her sister Joyce. Carol leaves her daughter Deborah, of Vermont; and cherished cousins. Carol taught 1/4 century in the East Hartford School system. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in 1988. Her service in education was distinguished by her concern and commitment to youth.

Memorial service will be at St. Agustine's, Hopewell Rd., S. Glastonbury, May 25, at 7:30 a.m. Donations may be made to Hartford Hospital's Hospice unit. Burial will be private.
