MERIDEN - Carrie (Cook) Vecchitto, 43, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.
Carrie was born and educated in Cheshire and has lived in Meriden for the past 17 years, with her husband, Dane. She worked side by side with her husband in their family business.
She is survived by mother, Kathleen; her sister, Beth and nephew, Tyler, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Chris, of Cheshire. She was predeceased by her father, William.
A church Mass will be rescheduled until Saturday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, W. Main St., Meriden. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to Franciscan Home Care, 267 Finch Ave., Meriden, CT 06451..
