Cornelia Whalen

Cornelia B. Whalen, 78, of East Haven, Connecticut, died peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford.

Mrs. Whalen retired in 1997 as an officer of the New Haven Savings Bank.

She is survived by her six children: Christopher, Siobhan, Eileen, Sean, Matthew, and Thomas, and their families; and by her brother, William R. Boyce and his family. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Whalen, and her sister, Barbara B. Schlott.
