Franzi Vogel

VOGEL--Franzi (Leopold), born in Hamburg, Germany, passed away at home in Stamford CT, Friday, July 13th. She was 99. Devoted wife, wise mother, versatile artist, beautiful homemaker, Franzi's warmth and style touched many people; she was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Formerly of Croton-on-Hudson and Somers, NY, she is pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years, George Vogel MD, and survived by her children Susan (Seymour) Shelsky and Michael (Beth) Vogel; her grandson, Peter (Barbara) Shelsky; and great-grandchildren, Clementine and Ginger.
