J. Paul Sinnott Jr. of New Milford CT, formerly of Katonah NY died December 11th 2009 in New Milford CT at the age of 80. He was born in New Rochelle NY in 1929 to the late J. Paul and Helen Cranwell Sinnott.
He was a graduate of Holy Cross College. His career in retail began at F.W. Woolworth, after which, he owned and ran Murray’s 5 & 10 in Chappaqua NY for many years. He later managed the toy department at Caldor’s in Peekskill NY.
Paul enjoyed collecting and repairing antique clocks and spending time with his pets. In his later years he was happiest taking long walks along the ridge in New Milford and following the stock market.
He is survived by his three children, Ellen Pawly of Needles CA, David Sinnott and his wife Lynn of Scottsdale AZ, Beth Giebel and her husband Dewar of New Milford CT and two grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held.
