Linda A. (Arel) Frazier, 58, of Manchester, CT, passed away suddenly on Saturday, (July 21, 2012) surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of John Frazier, for over 30 years.
Linda graduated from Penney High School in East Hartford in 1971. She attended Manchester Community College and received a degree in nursing. She was a private duty nurse for over 30 years and worked for the Salvatore family for the last 12 years.
Linda leaves her cherished mother, Geneva Day and five brothers, David Arel and his wife Linda of East Hartford, Michael Arel and his wife Cindy of Manchester, Steven Arel of Rhode Island, Mark Arel of Manchester and Christopher Arel of Hebron. She was predeceased by her father Armand Arel.
Linda was a caring and supportive wife, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to read, play cards with friends, and travel. Linda loved the time spent with friends on weekends at Partridge Hollow in Munson, MA. She loved cats especially "Q-Tip" and "Princess". Linda was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed. The family extends their gratitude for all who cared for Linda at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. Linda gave the gift of life through organ donation.
A memorial service will be held at the British American Club at 72 Maple Street in Manchester on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Southern CT at 94-96 South Turnpike Road, Wallingford, CT 06492.
