Michael Kessler, 53, of Sandy Hook, died August 19, at his home. He was born August 7, 1959, in New Haven, a son of William and Ann Kessler.
Mr Kessler was a freelance composer, singer, and sound designer for companies in New York City and Los Angeles.
He leaves behind his wife, Twyla Hafermann-Kessler; sons Trane and Jules, and daughters Quinlyn and Lola; his mother; a sister Kathy Kessler and her husband, Michael; and many nieces, nephews, and friends in the industry.
A small gathering was held at The Inn at Newtown, August 26, in celebration of Mr Kessler's life, and his contributions to the music and advertising industry.
