Philip Armitage

Philip Eric Armitage, 62, of Cheshire, CT passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 21, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Deb, daughter Sara, stepson Rob Piscatelli, his mother, Doris, two brothers, Jim (Beth) and Mark (Ginny), his sister Barbara, and several nieces and nephews.

Phil served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had a lifelong passion for sailing and all things nautical. He was a consummate craftsman and his work reflected his understanding of the balance between art and functionality. He will be sorely missed for his unique sense of humor, kindness, and his ability to always see the positive in life.
