Rachael Dale Gore, born June 12, 1989, daughter of Terri Kerner of Greenfield, MA, and Alan Gore of Storrs, died on the night of Oct. 9, 2012.
She attended E.O. Smith High and UCONN. She worked at the Mansfield Community Center in childcare and most recently as a nanny for Dylan. Her interests were in nutrition, fitness, art, modeling, and she loved to read. She was highly social and enjoyed the beach, parties, and cooking creatively for specialty diets.
She is loved by those she leaves behind, including her sister and brother-in-law Casey and Craig Babson and nephew Liam of Charleston, SC; brother Andrew of Storrs; her extended family: Christine Andersen and children Catherine and Gregory Andersen and Andy Eaton of Storrs; Lucy Flagella and children Andrew and Luke of Greenfield, MA; grandparents Carolyn and Bill Heidkamp of Charleston, SC, Wilhelmina Gore of Storrs, and Ron Kerner of Oregon. She will also be dearly missed by numerous aunts and uncles and cousins and friends, particularly Alex and Sifat. We choose to move forward together, united in our love and appreciation for having had her with us.
There will be a celebration of her life at Storrs Friends Meeting House in Storrs on Sat., Oct. 20, between 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Covenant Soup Kitchen in Willimantic.
