Robert J. Marosz, 69, of Berlin and formerly of Middletown passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Middlesex Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, following a long illness.
He was born in Meriden on November 23, 1943, son of the late Lottie (Jarzabek) and Henry J. Marosz.
Bob was a Master Custom Upholsterer for over 45 years, and the owner of Middlesex Upholstery in Middletown.
He is survived by his children, Michael Marosz and Christa Drzewiecki of Cromwell, his beloved best friend, Michele Farieri, and canine pets Buddha and Kalie. He is also survived by a sister, Charlotte, and brother, John and his special friend, Roberta Connolly, of Middletown, along with numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Henry Marosz, and sister, Peggy Ticino.
The family would like to thank the hospital ER, RT and CCU staffs, Dr. J. and, especially, Dr. Nicole Weinreb, for the loving care Bob received.
There are no calling hours, and funeral arrangements are private.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
