DANBURY - Ruth C. Hultgren, 91, of St. Paul, MN and most recently of Danbury, CT, departed this life on May 18, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late John T. Bradford Hultgren, loving mother of Claudia Seymour (Mark) and Deborah Dana (Charles), grandmother of P. Griffith Seymour (Kelly), Richard Dana (Shannon), M. Bradford Dana, and C. Paige Dana.
Ruth was born on Jan. 4, 1921, in Cannon Falls, MN. She attended Milwaukee Downer College. Ruth was an active member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, MN before moving to Ridgefield, CT in 2004. She worked at CHART, a women’s support and career organization, and was a dedicated and longtime volunteer at Time for Tots in Minneapolis, MN.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at First Congregational Church of Ridgefield. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family at Acacia Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, 405 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810 or to First Congregational Church of Ridgefield, 103 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
