MERIDEN - Vernon R. Eldred, 75, of Meriden, beloved husband of Leona Eldred, departed this life on Monday, November 30, 2009 with his family at his side.

He was born on April 12, 1934 in Brandon, VT, son of the late James and Edith (Tanner) Eldred. He worked in maintenance at Superior Products until his retirement.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family.
