HIETALA Walter Hietala, age 85, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Born in Finland, he lived in Flora Park and Huntington, NY., before retiring to Trumbull. Walter was a World War II veteran, professional engineer and a devoted family man. Loving husband of 60 years, to Laila. Beloved father to Lisa and Cristine. Proud grandfather of Samuel and Kelsey. A memorial service will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Bridgeport at a future date.
